At Corporate Fitness Centre we offer the opportunity to practice and explore yoga in a supportive environment with highly trained, skilled teachers.
Learn the basics from the ground up in a supportive class and with a progressive and thorough system.
Yoga addresses many of the issues that can be associated with working in a high paced work environment including pain, stiffness, headaches associated with computer use and poor posture, and negative psychological stress.
Our classes are focused towards basic movements and exercises. You will be introduced to the basic poses and postures, including standing, sitting and twisting poses with preparation for back bending and inverted poses.
The basic postures taught to beginners build strength and muscle tone where needed and improve flexibility, stability and generally balance the ‘system’ as needed.
Practicing yoga can also reduce tiredness and soothe the nerves, calming the mind to help concentration and our ability to ‘think clearly’.
